REALTORS® Help During Blood Shortage Emergency

REALTORS® from Northwestern Wisconsin aimed to help the Red Cross during an emergency blood shortage by hosting a blood drive at their conference center on Monday, August 26.

“When we heard that blood donations are being distributed to hospitals faster than donations are coming in, we knew we could take a step to help by hosting an emergency blood drive at our new conference center,” said Brenda Barnhardt, REALTORS® Association of Northwestern Wisconsin Executive Vice President.

REALTORS® from the REALTORS® Association of Northwestern Wisconsin invited community members to help their neighbors and community by stopping in and saving a life in less than an hour. 

“It’s heartwarming to see our members come together for a greater cause, especially during the summer when donations are down and the need is so great,” Barnhardt said.

The REALTORS® Association of Northwestern Wisconsin is the professional trade association that all professional REALTORS® residing within the association jurisdiction belong to. The association provides educational opportunities for its members, is active in local, state and national advocacy efforts, engages in community outreach through charitable giving, operates its own private foundation to help homeowners in need and remains a positive force for the members they serve.
